“Essen teilen ohne Grenzen” heißt das Erasmus-Plus-Projekt, das die Foodsharing-Akademie aus Köln (Deutschland) seit Oktober 2022 mit Organisationen der foodsharing-Bewegung in Belgien und Luxemburg durchführt. Ziel des Projektes ist es, sich rund um die Bildungsarbeit zu Lebensmittelverschwendung und -rettung zu vernetzen und auszutauschen,und somit auch Strukturen auf- und auszubauen, die Bildungarbeit zu diesen Themen durchführen können.

Das Highlight des Projektes ist ein dreitägiges foodsharing-Barcamp vom 18. bis 20. August 2023 mit vielen spannenden Workshops zu den Themen Lebensmittelverschwendung und -rettung sowie unseren Gruppenstrukturenin einem wunderschönen SNJ-Jugendbildungszentrum mitten in Luxemburg, in Marienthal bei Mersch. Während dieser drei Tage kooperieren das internationale Projektteam außerdem mit dem Festival Kolla x Mersch.

Rund 60 Foodsharer und Foodsaver aus Andorra, Belgien, Deutschland, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Luxemburg, der Niederlande und Österreich werden am Barcamp teilnehmen, um sich zu den Lebensmittelverschwendung und -rettung weiterzubilden und den Prozessaktiv mitzugestalten. Die Organisator:innen erhoffen sich, dass das beim Barcamp erworbene Wissen und die Fertigkeiten von den Teilnehmenden später als Multiplikator:innen an andere Menschen weitergegeben wird, bspw. bei Bildungsakitivitäten im schulischen oder außerschulischen Bereich.

“Foodsharing crosses Borders” is the name of the Erasmus Plus project that the Food Sharing Academy from Cologne (Germany) has been carrying out since October 2022 with organisations of the food sharing movement in Belgium and Luxembourg. The aim of the project is to network and exchange ideas around educational work on food waste and food rescue, and thus also to establish and expand structures that can carry out educational work on these topics.

The highlight of the project is a three-day foodsharing barcamp from 18 to 20 August 2023 with many exciting workshops on the topics of food waste and food rescue as well as our group structures in a beautiful SNJ youth centre in the middle of Luxembourg, in Marienthal near Mersch. During these three days, the international project team also cooperated with the festival Kolla x Mersch.

Around 60 food sharers and food savers from Andorra, Belgium, Germany, France, UK, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Austria will participate in the bar camp to learn more about food waste and food rescue and to participate in the process. The organisers hope that the knowledge and skills acquired at the Barcamp will later be passed on to other people as multipliers, e.g. in educational activities in schools or extracurricular activities.

Unser Workshopangebot kurz gefasst:
Soziokratie als Organisationsform für foodsharing-Gruppen, Social Media und Influencing im foodsharing-Kontext, globale Zusammenhänge von Lebensmittel- und Ressourcenverschwendung, möglicher Rassismus in unseren Strukturen, Training zum Methodenbuffet der Foodsharing-Akademie, psychologische Zusammenhänge beim Thema Lebensmittelverschwendung und Umgang mit Konflikten, Projektentwicklungsmethode Dragon Dreaming, Europawahl 2024 im Kontext des EU-Ziels der Halbierung der Lebensmittelverschwendung bis 2030. Wie auf einem Barcamp üblich, haben wir auch Freiräume (Open Space) vorgesehen, in denen Teilnehmende einen eigenen Workshop – auch spontan – anbieten können.

Our workshop offer in brief:
Sociocracy as an organizational form for foodsharing groups, social media and influencing in the foodsharing context, global connections of food and resource waste, possible racism in our structures, training on the method buffet of the Foodsharing Academy, psychological connections on the topic of food waste and dealing with conflicts, project development method Dragon Dreaming, European election 2024 in the context of the EU goal of halving food waste by 2030. As usual at a Barcamp, we have also provided free spaces (Open Space) where participants can offer their own workshop – also spontaneously.

Im Park in Mersch findet zur gleichen Zeit das nette Musikfestival Kolla statt. Auch dazu sind ihr herzlich eingeladen. Wir besuchen das Festival an zwei Nachmittagen und Abenden und mit Workshops und einer Schnippeldisco bereichern.

In the park in Mersch, the nice Kolla music festival will take place at the same time. You are also cordially invited. We would like to visit the festival on two afternoons and evenings and enrich it with workshops and a disco soup.
